Get started with ServicePilot

Set up your Australian trade business in ServicePilot. Add your company details, price list, first customer, and first job.

1

Create your account

Go to app.servicepilot.com.au. Sign up with your email address. Every new account gets a 14-day free trial, and you do not need a credit card.

ServicePilot asks for your business name and trade. It then loads a ready-made price list for your industry. ServicePilot supports more than 20 trades, such as plumbing, electrical, and cleaning.

The dashboard shows today's jobs, the money that customers owe you, and the quotes to follow up.

2

Add your business details

Go to Settings, then Business profile. Add your ABN (Australian Business Number), logo, phone number, and payment details. ServicePilot puts these on every quote and invoice automatically. You set them one time.

3

Load or import your price list

Your starter price list is ready under Settings, then Price list. Change the rates to your own. Add your own items, or import them from a CSV (comma-separated values) file. The price list controls AI (artificial intelligence) quoting, and the AI uses only your rates.

4

Add your first customer and job

Select New job at the top left. Type the customer's name. ServicePilot creates a new customer as you type. Add the address and a start time. The job goes to your schedule and dashboard immediately.

5

Get the mobile apps

ServicePilot is on the App Store and Google Play. The app gives you your schedule, job details, navigation, photos, and payments on your phone. The phone and the web show the same data at all times.

Common questions

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. The 14-day trial has all features and needs no credit card. You add payment details only if you decide to continue.

Can I import my existing customers?

Yes. Go to Clients, then Import CSV (comma-separated values). Map your columns one time and ServicePilot imports your customer list.

I work alone. Is it still worth it?

Yes. Solo operators save the most time on administration. AI (artificial intelligence) quotes, automatic SMS (Short Message Service) reminders, and online invoice payments replace hours of evening paperwork.
